This ‘Independence of a Cat’ post is very true indeed. It is difficult to imagine things being any different because it would just not seem right. But just what would it be like?
If dogs were the independent ones then you would need to keep going to the door to let them out so that they could go off for a walk. And it would be completely bizarre to see people playing ‘fetch’ with their cats down at the park, wouldn’t it?
Perhaps it is best that things are the way they are. Cats burying bones in the garden would just be wrong.
